rssdude

The name notwithstanding, this is an effort to produce rss feeds easily from arbitrary webpages and be “mostly right” with regard to the fiddly bits such as caching fetches and serving proper 304 responses. It mainly dues this through letting Apache handle that part!

An easy-to-use feed oriented framework for ease of adding new feeds and not having to care about rss vs atom and things like character sets out in the wild

In the near future, will support:

  • Daemon mode
  • Exponential backoff
  • Writing plain text files for Apache to serve
